Hi I'm Teri

I am a stay-at-home mother of three adorable children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the wife of a great husband and a mother to three children who are my life! I love being a mother and spending time with my family. I love to read, cook, run, and do anything outdoorsy. I joined the Church 8 years ago and count it as the greatest decision I ever made in my life because it gave me the opportunity to have an eternal family.

Why I am a Mormon

For 21 years of my life I attended churches other than the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The first time I attended the LDS Church was a cold, February day in North Dakota. I went with a friend and I was introduced to the missionaries. They taught me about the Church and what I remember most vividly was the message that there is a prophet on the earth today. I ended up finding something that I wasn't aware I was searching for. I started reading the Book of Mormon and quickly understood how it truly testifies of Jesus Christ. The gospel of Jesus Christ has brought so much understanding and peace to my life. I am a better person today because of it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith mostly by trying to be the kind of person that I think my Heavenly Father would want me to be. Jesus Christ set the example of the kind of life to live and I try to emulate that in my own life. I am trying to raise my children to be good men and women and the best way I can think of to accomplish that is to be an example of the person I want them to be. My husband and I are working very hard together to try and accomplish this great task! The Church is a great help in this area. They provide support and the Prophet provides counsel on how best to raise children in these times. I know that as I live the gospel and strive to have a relationship with my Heavenly Father that He will lead and guide me in my desire to raise a righteous family.
