Hi I'm Cassandra

I love date nights with my husband, reading to my kids, baking, traveling, and Excel spreadsheets. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the proud Mom of six children, two girls and four boys. My husband and I have been able to travel together quite a bit in our fifteen years of marriage, both within Canada and abroad. It is something we both enjoy and hope to do a lot more of in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to know through faith, study, and prayer that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and my redeemer. I know that Heavenly Father is my father in heaven and that he knows me, loves me, and wants me to be happy. I know that families can be together forever and I am so grateful for this blessing. I know that we have a prophet on the earth today, just as in biblical times. I know that God loves all of his children. I am a Mormon because I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ - the same gospel that Jesus himself taught when he lived on the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching our children the principles and ordinances of the gospel: faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, and the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost. I serve as an assistant Cub Leader in our Ward. We have Cub Scout activities each week and I love working with our group of 14 busy boys ages 8-10. I have learned so much in the Scouting program, and have been lucky enough to be a leader to two of my own sons, which has been great. On Sundays, I teach the Sunbeam class at church, which is the three-year-old class. We have fun singing, colouring, playing with games, puzzles, and toys, and learning about Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father.
