Hi I'm Ben

I was born in Burundi. I grew up in Canada. I love to play basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Burundi. I moved to Belgium when the Civil War in Burundi made it unsafe for my family to stay. I then moved to Southern Alberta where I grew up. I love to play sports, especially basketball and volleyball. I postponed my studies to serve a full-time volunteer mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love listening to music, hanging out with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 15 years old, I decided that I had to find out why I was a Mormon. After attending a Youth Camp, I commited myself to read the Book of Mormon and find out if it was true or not. The answer that I received while was that of a soft peaceful feeling that came to my heart and to my mind. I knew that the Book of Mormon was the Word of God. I knew that Jesus Christ was my Saviour and Redeemer. Now that I am serving as a full-time missionary, I have to oportunity continually strengthen my faith in Jesus Christ as I share His gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the example of my Saviour Jesus Christ. I live my faith through my actions, my words, and my thoughts. I live my faith by serving a full-time mission the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I live my faith by being a good friend, by being a good brother, and most importantly, by being a good person.
