Hi I'm James

I'm an ultimate frisbee playing, history enthusiast that loves shooting my 12 gauge and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a mission for the church in Fresno, California. It has been the greatest thing i've ever done in my life. What a blessing it is to serve the Lord! I'm an aspiring History professor. I love the study of ancient cultures. The more I study the past, the more I find that God does have a plan and his hand has been in the lives of people throughout all of time. He really is the same yesterday, today and forever. I'm one of the more competitive people in the world. My sports of choice are ultimate frisbee and football. I love to game with my friends and brother. It's a fun way to connect and just relax a little bit. (As long as I win) I love being a missionary! I love life! Most of all, I love my savior Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true and living church on the earth today. The Lord stands at the head of the church and I know it's true.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm serving for two years in the California Fresno mission. From 6:30 till 10:30; from the time I wake up until the time I go to sleep, i'm serving the Lord with all my heart, might, mind and strength. I'm on the Lord's time doing what he would have me do. That will is; to bring people unto the restored gospel of Jesus Christ by building faith in him and his atonement, repentance, baptism, recieving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. Christ's grace is sufficient to help me in all aspects of my life. Grace is not only about being saved, but becoming like the Savior. I know that He lives and loves me too. I fall short everyday, but I find peace in the fact that he paid the price for me. Because of him I can become better every single day, by applying his atonement into my life and repenting for my sins. Repentance isn't about repaying god or about being punished, it's about change. Christ has changed my life.
