Hi I'm Tyson

I love sports, being with my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Canadian and love to play sports of any kind, but will never turn down a chance to play hockey or football. I come from a family of 4 boys, and had a lot of fun growing up as the youngest. I've done a little bit of school, but have put that on hold for a mission, but will be attending again when I am done.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were great and taught me a lot about Christ and His church through persistent family prayers and reading from the scriptures, as well as attending Church. When I was a younger teen I was getting a little tired of knowing what the church taught, but not knowing for myself if this was Jesus Christ's church was again established on the earth. I figured it was about time to find out, so I took up the challenge to read the Book of Mormon and to pray to God, to find out from him, if this Church was true. By the time I finished reading, I prayed, to find my own answer personally from my Heavenly Father that this is the Church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, but honestly trying to live a Christlike life everyday. I try to hold myself to higher set of standards, which involves giving up a lot of my personal time to help others come to know Christ. I have taught children, and am currently serving as a missionary for the people in Minnesota.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Tyson
The Holy Ghost is a Comforter, to teach us truth and to help us recognize and remember to follow Gods path. The Holy Ghost is a Spirit sent to us from the Father, so that we might experience peace in our lives, true peace that comes from following Gods commandments. We realize that the Holy Ghost is influencing us through our thoughts and feelings, if they bring us closer to Christ. Show more Show less
