Hi I'm Craig

I work for a City as a network administrator, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am 58 years old. I have been a mechanic, Insurance Broker, Real Estate Broker, and now work as an IT specialist/Network administrator for a local city government. I served a Mission for the Church from 1971 to 1973 in the Brasil North Mission headquartered in Rio de Janeiro. I returned from my mission and graduated from BYU majoring in Political Science with double minors in Portuguese and English. From there, I worked in several different fields as previously stated. I have been the President of three different corporations. I snow and water ski, ride three wheelers, fish fly and cast, hunt, and enjoy the great outdoors. I have a wife of 37 years and six wonderful children five daughters and one son. One of my daughters served a mission in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma mission and my son is currently serving in the Milwaukee, Wisconson mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I consider myself lucky to have been born a member of the LDS faith. My ancesters joined the church in England, and Scotland before migrating to finally settle in the Uintah Basin. As anyone who is involved in the church can tell you, I have always been a member but I had to also be converted to the gospel. Even though I learned the gospel early in my life from parents who knew and lived the gospel, I had to work and strive to gain a testimony and a knowledge of the gospel for myself. This only happens through study and prayer and is not an easy process, though the end result is well worth the work. I have seen miracles take place in my life and the lives of my family through the power of the priesthood. Great blessings have been received by myself and others who I care for. Living the Gospel brings joy and happiness even through the trials that are part of everyone's lives.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to live my faith by treating everyone as important and worth listening to. I served a full time mission for the Church in the Brazil North Mission Headquartered in Rio de Janeiro from 1971 to 1973. Since returing home and marrying, I have server in Scouting positions for over 23 years, including Woodbadge trainning. I have server as Elders Quorum Secretary, High Priest Group Leader, Assistant Ward Clerk for the last 11 years. I feel that I have grown and also helped others to grow in their faith by the time I dedicated to service in the Church.
