Hi I'm Mike Campbell

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the south, spent many years in California, back in Alabama. Life is good.

About Me

I was raised in the south. I served a mission for my church in Southern CA in the late 80's speaking Spanish. I am married and have three sons. We spent much of our married life in CA. We recently moved back to AL. I am a Cougar fan and a Crimson Tide fan. I own an Allstate Insurance Agency in Athens AL. Most of my time these days is spent with family, church and work.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Lord Jesus Christ. I have found that I feel close to him when I live the principles and teachings of this church. Becoming a Mormon is a big step and requires much investigation and prayer to our Heavenly Father to discover his will for us in our lives. I was born and raised in the church, but I was converted to the church by investigating and considering the story of Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon myself and by praying to my Heavenly Father asking him if it is true. It is true and has been a great blessing my life. The church is misunderstood a lot, we are Christian, we belive in our Heavenly Father, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We believe that we can be saved as a family unit in heaven when we follow Christ and His teachings and do what we can to repent and keep the commandments and after that we are saved by His grace. Imagine if you will that the family unit is eternal and guaranteed as long as we follow the Savior and His plan. A marriage is not "until death do you part". I invite you to consider the teachings of this church and become a member through baptism when you believe it is true.

How I live my faith

I attend church each Sunday. I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ but fall short in many ways. He is my guiding light. In the church most all active members are asked to take volunteer assignments. I have served many years working with youth who are just great. Serving in the church is a big part of may life.
