Hi I'm Rachel

I'm single, and enjoy fishing, reading, and crochet, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the church. I am single, but look forward to marrying and having kids one day. I love to spend time with my family, especially my nieces and nephews. I love to get books from the kids section in the library, crochet, go fishing, play games, watch movies, and make funny faces.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Holy Ghost has witnessed to me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I know it's true. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers, and it affects everything I do. I know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us, and that he will guide and direct us as we go to Him in prayer.

How I live my faith

I'm currently the Young Women Secretary in my ward (congregation). I work with the girls ages 12-18, attend weekly youth activities, young women lessons on Sunday, and I help keep track of a lot of the paperwork and details that go with serving in the Young Women's auxiliary. I also go Visiting Teaching, where another woman and I visit two other ladies once a month, and visit with each other about our lives and the gospel.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Rachel
We do our best to help everyone. We believe that every person on earth is a son or daughter of our Heavenly Father, and that we are literally His children. We treat those around us, no matter their beliefs, with respect and love. We see them as our brothers and sisters, and we often address each other as "Brother" or "Sister". We believe in being Christ-like, and we strive to be like Him. Show more Show less
