Hi I'm Steve

I grew up in Los Angeles. I'm now an executive for a telecommunications software firm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life is focused on my family. I have a beautiful wife and several children. Together, we enjoy camping and hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents taught me from a young age about Jesus Christ, about the importance of studying the scriptures, including the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and about the importance of a prophet on the earth today. When I was a teenager, I finally felt that God answered my prayers personally, that these are all real and true: That the Book of Mormon is scripture, just like the Bible; that the prophet on the earth today is called of God to give direction to the people of the earth just like prophets of old; the God, our Heavenly Father, has prepared these things to help us be happy, to be strong as families, and to lead us back to Him.

How I live my faith

My faith helps me in all parts of my life. At home, we spend time each day together, includnig reading from the scriptures and praying together. We attend church together, and have time at home also to learn from one-another. Like most in our congregation, I have been asked to help with some of the church programs, and find the service that I give a great opportunity to learn and grow. In my professional life, I find that in contract negotiations and fulfilling service commitments, that I often reflect on our belief of "being honest,... and doing good to all men", and I use that as a measure to guage my actions.
