Hi I'm Danielle

I'm a Wife, a Mother. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother to two boys and a little girl who will join our family in just a couple of months. After high school, I feel like I have been put a path that has led me to where I am today. I met my husband that summer and was already planning on going to a school out-of-state which happened to be where he was from. So when I moved up there we kept in touch, got married and continued with school. We started a family about two years later. I graduated with an associates degree, which took longer than what I planned on but family is most important to me. I have been blessed with a wonderful family and I enjoy being a homemaker where I can watch and help my children learn and to grow!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this true church for all my life. I am thankful for my parents who raised all their children in the Mormon faith. I continue to follow His gospel because it brings me peace and comfort. I know that my family and I can be together forever and that is what keeps me doing the best that I can.

How I live my faith

My calling, or job, in the ward is teaching the 6 year olds. I have been enjoying teaching these sweet children of our Heavenly Father. For my own children my husband and I try to have family home evenings where we teach a principle of the gospel to our children, which can be difficult sometimes because they are almost 4 and 2 years old. But our 4 year old looks forward to "having a lesson" and sometimes reminds us. I know that this is because he knows what he is learning is true.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

From reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible I can receive the blessings of answered prayers. I know that if I have a question I can read the teachings of Jesus in the scriptures and I will be guided in my life to do the things that I need to be doing. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is very important because it is the reason why we are here. We are entrusted with our Heavenly Fathers children and it is up to us as parents to help guide them back to Him. I am so thankful for my family and I know that if we follow the teachings of the gospel we can be together forever, for time and all eternity.  Show more Show less

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes they can! I find this very comforting because I know that if we follow the teachings of our Heavenly Father we can live together forever, in Heaven with our whole family, and what a blessing this is to me. Show more Show less
