Hi I'm Sara

I am a Homeschooling Momma to three, a wife to One American Soldier. I am a proud Mormon and thankful for the Gospel.

About Me

Hi, I was raised in California by a single mother who worked 3 jobs to support my sister and I. I was introduced to the church by my husband when we started dating. I had no idea what "Mormons" were, I had only heard they were a cult. How wrong I was, I was baptized 6 months after meeting my husband. The Church and the members helped mold and teach me so much. I know that I would not be the person I am today without the gospel in my life. I fear that the choices I could have made would have been detrimental to my spiritual salvation. I received much opposition by my family in my decision to become mormon, however over time as they saw the person I developed into they wanted to know more. Why are you so happy? Always positive? Your journey to know the lord will take time, you will endure much but your testimony will grow and you will become steadfast and immovable in your faith. People begin to look at you as a light and its amazing for me to see the transformation in others. I am grateful for the gospel and how it continually blesses my life. I hope that you read this and whatever your circumstances are you will know that when you become a member of this church you become a member of a family. I love being mormon it is one of the best decisions of my life, I am proud of my faith and I love to share it.

Why I am a Mormon

Being Mormon has transformed my life, I choose this religion because it has brought me closer to god. I know when you are taking the discussions you feel bombarded with lots of emotions and other peoples perceptions on "Mormons" are clouded. It's overwhelming, but I can say that I know this church is true. I have a testimony of this gospel and of our prophet and his council. We are blessed to have him and his guidance especially with all we are enduring today. I look forward to the day when I meet my heavenly father and he can say " Job Well Done " thy faithful servant. I hope you take time to listen and pray about what the missionaries teach you. It is life changing and you will never look back at your decision to become a member of this church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by applying what I learn through scripture study, inspiration from church leaders, and the family proclamation. I pray everyday alone and with my family, we strive to have a family night once a week. We do things together like board games, a movie night, or small lessons and a treat. I am always striving to be a better person and to do what the lord would want me to. I follow the commandments but I am not perfect either and sometimes must take a few steps back and start over again.
