Hi I'm Mark Christensen

I'm a Mormon that most certainly recognizes Jesus Christ as the savior of the world.

About Me

I am a family man . . . all the way. I am the father of three amazing children, two sons and one daughter. I now have two daughters-in-law that I also cherish and consider my children, as well as two adorable grandchildren. We love the time that we have to spend together. Dinners, movies, trips, and simple gatherings. My relationship with my wife is as essential to my existence as the air that I breath. She is my companion, my reality check, my biggest fan, and my most true and faithful friend. She is also the heartbeat of our family. I am grateful for the eternal perspective that we share. I have owned and operated a small business for the past 22 years - providing coaching, training, and tools to business leaders, teams, and organizations. I know the ups and downs as well as the pressures, struggles and joys associated with business owenrship. I have had the good fortune to meet many individuals and have learned a great deal from them all. Most importantly, I have learned that nearly everyone has a light in them that leads them toward good so long as they don't squelch it.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been raised in the church, I was blessed with parents that provided for me spiritually and temporally. I was given the tools to make spiritual decisions. However, that is not why I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I used the tools that I had been given to seek the truth for myself. I did that through study and prayer. The Lord has provided to me, through the Spirit, undeniable confirmation that Jesus is the Christ, his true church is upon the earth, and that through that church He will provide to me His complete plan of happiness.

How I live my faith

Faith is a verb. I know that, but I find myself needing a reminder every day. I am happiest when I am active in my faith. When I am fulfilling my role as a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and disciple, my faith comes into focus and becomes very real and practical. I believe that God instructs us as we exercise our faith, especially in the small things. Service to others is perhaps the most powerful experience I have had with faith.
