Hi I'm Jared

I'm a Family Man, a Nurse, and Love the Outdoors, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a father of three wonderful girls. I enjoy being outside by doing activities like camping and biking. My occupation is a Nurse. I enjoy my career because I am able to serve others during difficult and challenging times in their lives. This service reminds me of a scripture from the Book of Mormon in Mosiah 2:17, "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I understood the basic beliefs of the gospel as a youth. I increased in my understanding of the gospel when I had the opportunity to serve as a missionary. Sharing the gospel helped me see the blessing that I have received from it. I was also able to see how it helped others in their lives as they learned about the purpose of life and the plan of happiness.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church as an executive secretary for the Bishop. I help the Bishop with scheduling appointments to visit the the members of the ward. Other duties are asking members to provide prayers in sacrament meeting. That is one of the great things about the church. Everything thing we do is serving one another.
