Hi I'm Amber

I'm a student. I love outdoor activities and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student studying Exercise Science and music. I want to be a Physical Therapist. I play the piano, trumpet, French horn, and organ. I love to bake, crochet, and read. I also love biking, skiing, hiking, canoeing, and sight seeing. My dream is to travel to as many places as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church. My parents faithfully taught me and my siblings the gospel and helped us to gain our own testimonies. I know for myself that the Church is true. I don't attend church just because it is what my family always does. I go because I want to. I live the gospel because I want to. I know that Joseph Smith restored The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the earth. I know that it is truly Christ's church. The Holy Ghost has born witness to me of it's truthfulness. The gospel brings such happiness and peace in my life. It not a worldly, or superficial peace, but a deep, eternal peace that helps me to continue in the faith.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week, even when I am travelling. In my home ward, I am on a committee that organizes compassionate service for those in need in our ward. I also am assigned to visit two sisters in my ward and make sure that they are doing okay. I read my scriptures every morning and pray morning and night. However, I am not limited to pray twice a day. I strive to commune with my Heavenly Father throughout my day. I look for those who need my help and try to find ways to be of service to others. I want to be an example for everyone, and help them to come to Jesus Christ.
