Hi I'm Bruce

I'm an engineer. I love music, theater and opera. I also teach part time at a tech college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've loved electronics and technology since grade school. I've been a ham radio operator since childhood. This led me to do an electrical engineering degree and then a master's in computer science. I have worked as an engineer for 30 years now. I also am teaching electronics at a local tech college. I really love passing on knowledge to the rising generation. When I finished my undergrad degree, I discovered how wonderful music, opera and the performing arts are. I love Shakespeare, Puccini, Rutter and Lauridsen.

Why I am a Mormon

Because in a world of shifting values and shades of gray, the complete gospel of Jesus Christ is the one thing I can count on. It is always true and will always lead to happiness. Though my life has had it's share of challenges, I know I can find real joy by following the Savior's path. I have felt the sweet witness of the Holy Ghost confirming the fact that this is the actual gospel taught by Jesus. It is wonderful to know that Jesus is still the head of the church and we have a prophet on earth today. The gospel is everything that is good in my life.

How I live my faith

I try to serve. I find service is the ripcord on the parachute of peace. If things are depressing and blue, I find that by trying to brighten someone else's day, I can get away from my depression. I have taught sunday school, been a scoutmaster, cubmaster, secretary and many other callings in the church. I also have tried to help register people to vote and help in political campains.
