Hi I'm Lee Ann

I'm a Mormon. My name is Ann. I am a native Georgian.

About Me

I am 55 years old. I am married and have a son 23 years old. I am a retired draftsperson. I worked for civil engineers and surveyors for around 25 years. Now I stay at home and take care of my home and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because when I entered the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints I felt the Saviors love. I knew that the Holy Spirit was all around me. I had never felt it so strongly. My son was invited to this church and son after that was called to go on a mission for the Lord, and he would be gone for 2 years. I felt I needed to investigate this church to see if it was for real. There were a lot of things being said about the church that made me feel uncomfortable and I did not want my son joining the wrong church. So I went to church with him and found out Mormans are normal people that are christians. Christians that work hard at being Christ like. Christians that have prayed about The Book of Morman and received and answer from the Holy Spirit that it is a book written by Prophets that lived on American soil, before, during and after Christ's time. I have read and prayed about the Book of Morman personally, and received and answer of my own from the Holy Spirit. I know that the Book is true, I also know that the Holy Bible is true, and I believe that the church is the true and restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. For the first time in my life I felt I had found the church that I belonged in. I knew that anywhere I go I can find a Latter Day Saint Church, and belong to it. The people think and live the way that I choose to live my life. There I can love everyone and I know they love me back. As does Christ.

How I live my faith

I begin my week by going to church. There I can begin my week being obedient and showing respect for Heavenly Father. I have the priviledge of teaching a class of 8 year olds. So during the week I study the lesson and pray, to do the best I can with these loving little people. I visit with 3 of the ladies in our church organization. I feel os honored to be a part of this organization. I alos get to have special visits from ladies. We are there for one another and make sure everyones needs are taken care of.
