Hi I'm Ed

I love physics and the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love sharing knowledge with others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the late 70's in the Philippines. When I was very young, I moved with my mother and father to the United States and grew up in Florida. After a year of college, I served as a missionary in New York City. Afterwords, I graduated with a bachelor's and then a master's degree in physics. I currently teach at a local college. I'm also a husband and a father in the best family around! I love teaching, especially Physics. Physics is the foundation of our understanding of the sciences. It is a subject that deals with the most basic situations but is also fundamentally misunderstood by most people. I enjoy helping others to overcome their previous misconceptions of how the world works and to teach them a better way of describing the world around them. I love teaching the Gospel for the same reasons. I enjoy educating people about fundamental principles that govern our mortal life here on Earth. I love to teach others that we are children of God and that He sent our Savior, Jesus Christ to the Earth so that we could overcome our sins, become better people, and return to live with our Heavenly Father. I like to help people to overcome their misconceptions of my faith and to help them live happier lives by following Christ and living the way He would want us to live. Whether its about physics or about Jesus Christ, my passion is teaching. We can all become better people by learning and sharing the truth about the world we live in.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother's family in the Philippines were converts to the Church before I was born. When my family moved to the United States, we were less involved in religion and I attended a church of another faith. When my grandmother from the Philippines moved in to live with us, I heard the lessons from the missionaries and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was eleven years old when I was baptized. I didn't know everything about the Gospel or about what it meant to be a Mormon at the time. What I did know was that the missionaries taught the truth and that God wanted me to be baptized into the Church. Continuing to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ by following the example of Christ builds my faith in what was taught to me in my youth. I have become a better person by following the teachings in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I've seen other people find happiness and a better way of life by living the teachings of Jesus Christ taught in the scriptures.

How I live my faith

I'm not perfect. We all that know that no one is except for our Savior, Jesus Christ. However, I still strive to follow the example that Christ set for me. I know that He atoned for our sins and suffered on the cross so we can overcome our failures and live with Him after this life. I do my best to take care of my family and teach them what I know of Christ and how to live to be happy. I try to read the scriptures and pray everyday to know what God want me to do. I make an effort to serve others like Jesus Christ would. I do my best to live the way my Heavenly Father wants me to live.
