Hi I'm David

I am a husband, a father, a graduate student and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending graduate school in Buffalo, NY. I am married and have one beautiful baby girl. I love doing outdoor activities, everything from snow skiing to camping and hiking to boating and wakeboarding. I also enjoy organized sports like baseball and football.

Why I am a Mormon

I have moved across the country from Idaho Falls, ID to El Paso, TX to Buffalo, NY not knowing a soul that lived in each place. People ask me how we do it and think we are crazy moving away from family with a new baby and starting graduate school. For my family the thing that makes it possible is being a member of this church. This church is a worldwide and teaches the same marvelous truths here in Buffalo as it does in Texas or Idaho or anywhere else in the world. It is also like an extended family and social support system that is unlike anything else, and is the members are always there to help even if they don't know you. Knowing that, and eternal truths like how my family can be together even after we die, and the witness of the Holy Ghost testifying to me that this is the Lord's church is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I do my best to be a good citizen, to help others when they are in need, and to not abuse or take advantage of help that is offered by others. I serve in various voluntary capacities in the church when I am asked to do so. I guess the biggest way I live my faith is not seen first hand by most people, it is how I act and treat my family in my home when no one is watching, and the example I set for them.
