Hi I'm Dan

I am a tornado survivor, surfer, and aspiring doctor. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am finishing my BS in biology. I am applying to medical school. I love surfing, fishing, and anything outdoors. My wife and I enjoy every moment together. We are looking forward to the birth of our son!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. That simple phrase illustrates in the most profound nature, my true identity. I am a Mormon because it is what makes me truly happy. Jesus Christ has enriched my relationships with my wife and family in ways that only His church can. I am a Mormon because being so gives me security in the knowledge that I know where I can go after this life and that I can live with our Heavenly Father again with my loved ones.

How I live my faith

I have a simple faith that everyday is a wonderful opportunity and that as I strive to come unto Christ everything will be alright. In the church I am a leader over the men. I have the opportunity to help the men of the church and their families in any way possible. My favorite part of being a leader in the church is the opportunity to visit families in their homes and make so many friends. I love seeing the gospel of Jesus Christ transform families and strengthen them. It is a miracle to me every time I enter into a home and I witness a family who is happy despite unfortunate circumstance. They find comfort, solace, hope, and strength as they exercise their personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. In turn I am uplifted and strengthened to try a little harder to be a better servant to my Master, Jesus Christ.
