Hi I'm Mindy

I'm a farm girl from Idaho. I grew up traveling the country showing horses. I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a caregiver, a home manager, a project leader, a task manager, a chauffeur, a cook, a teacher, a creative director, and a professional hug and boo-boo kisser. I am a Stay-at-Home Mom! I enjoy blessing our home on a daily basis with the needs of my home and family. I am at work or on call 24/7 and I wouldn't have it any other way! I consider myself immensely blessed to be able to stay home and raise our four children. I am happily married to a man who is committed to me and our family. We have the same dreams and desires for our family and together we are unstoppable! I love to play volleyball, ride horses, take pictures, scrapbook, and read.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was blessed to be born into a Mormon family. I have embraced this Church because I know it to be true! I can't even imagine not having the Gospel in my life. I rely heavily on it's teaching and principles to help me navigate life. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and that he has an individualized plan just for me. I love my family and am so grateful to my Heavenly Father who loves me and has given me the gift of redemption and eternal life with my loved ones!

How I live my faith

I am greatly blessed to be able to serve the women in our Branch. I help organize service when needed and plan activities that bring us together to socialize and learn and grow with one another. Our goal is to help the women gain a deeper understanding of the love our Father has for each and every one of us and to help them teach it to their families.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No, we don't worship Joseph Smith. We believe him to be a Prophet of God, called, in his time, to restore God's Church to the earth. We worship God, the Father, and His son Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

We are God's children, He is our Father. We are a family. One of the first commandments given to Adam and Eve was to multiply and replenish the earth. It is His plan for us. It is within families that we learn a healthy work ethic, we learn to be honest and have integrity, we learn the value of choice and accountability and we learn to appreciate the differences in others and to honor our fathers and mothers. It is within families that we learn of His unconditional love for us and others, we learn of sacrifice and selflessness, and we experience not just mere happiness but true joy. Show more Show less
