Hi I'm Tad

I've been a resident of California, Idaho, Chile and Texas. My passions are my faith, my family and my music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family. I am married to my eternal sweetheart and father to 2 spectacular girls. The greatest joy in my life is spending time with them. I love music. I sing, listen to and arrange alternative, gospel, jazz, broadway and barbershop. I love the outdoors. I have enjoyed camping and hiking since I was a boy. I love reading. My favorite subjects are religion, historical fiction and fantasy. I love my job. I work for a software development company as an operations manager and project analyst. Most of all, I love my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When I was young, I depended on the faith of my family and friends to carry me through the trials of life... but it wasn't enough. As I grew up and became more independent, I realized that I had to know for myself whether or not this was really the truth. I have read the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I have read and listened to the many teachings of the modern prophets from Joseph Smith until now. I have prayed to know if it is true and I have received my answer... IT IS TRUE. Heavenly Father has answered my prayers and I know without a doubt that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I also know that every one that asks with faith can know the same. I know that we have a prophet that lives in our day and speaks for God. I know that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to our Heavenly Father's commandments that we can be lifted up to live with Them again.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints allows me many chances to serve others. Currently, I'm volunteering my time as a youth leader and Varisty Scout Coach. Every week, I get the chance to teach the youth lessons and life skills that help them reach their potential and learn their duty to God. Also, through a program called Hometeaching, I have been invited to support the spiritual and temporal well-being of 3 families in our ward (congregation). Every month I get to drop by their home and let them know that they are loved and that I am ready and willing to help if they ever need it. Christ taught that the 2 great commandments are: love God and love thy neighbor. Service in this church allows ample opportunity for wonderfully fullfilling growth in both areas.
