Hi I'm Rachelle

I'm an amateur triathlete, a mother of five including identical twin boys, and a recent college graduate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a great man and we are the parents of five children. After having the twins, a friend convinced me to try a sprint triathlon and I am hooked. I enjoy road racing, ultimate frisbee, soccer, piano, making cakes, camping, gardening, curling up with a good book, planning activities, and playing games with my family. I would much rather be outdoors than cleaning my house :)

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon and am grateful for parents who raised me in the faith and taught me good values. I continue to follow Christ's Gospel because it's principles have never failed me. As I have tried and tested the Mormon beliefs, I have always been blessed and my life is better when I follow its teachings. I have prayed and asked God if what I have been taught is true and I have received my answers with feelings of peace.

How I live my faith

I avoid things that could destroy me spiritually and physically such as using foul language, using drugs and other stimulants, watching or reading offensive material, and listening to demoralizing music. I read the scriptures which help teach me about Christ and how I can do better in my life. I attend church on Sunday and make regular visits each month to a few ladies in particular to make sure they are doing okay. I also receive visitors each month-we call it Visiting Teaching. My duty in the Church is to plan activities for the women to participate in.
