Hi I'm April

I'm a Mormon. And I love it!

About Me

I love to be outdoors camping or hiking, drinking in the beauty of God's creations. I like to read, sing, and I enjoy spending quiet time at home with my family. It's those happy little moments enjoying God's gifts that accumulate to make my life beautiful.

Why I am a Mormon

I've learned through experience that the best way to be happy and succeed in my life is to try to live the way Christ did. I know this is his church and is led by him, and is designed to help lead me along the path of righteousness. Only through the gospel of Jesus Christ can I acheive my greatest potential and have a fullness of joy in my life.

How I live my faith

I make an effort to constantly build my relationship with Christ. I try to study the scriptures and teachings of the prophets every day to gain all of the knowledge that I can and grow closer to him. I stay true to what I believe and try to improve myself a little each day so that I can become what he wants me to be. I'm preparing myself to receive the blessing of the temple.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

April
A testimony is the conviction that the things we are taught in church are true. We start out believing because that's how we're raised, but as we practice living correct principles we experience for ourselves the blessings of obedience. Our faith increases as we see God's promises fulfilled and we come to have a deeper convinction in the things we believe - a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone needs to have a testimony. Show more Show less
