Hi I'm Leah

and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a continuing student currently on break to work and save up for my new little family. I am hoping to keep attending school to be an EMT. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and I miss the rain everyday. My husband and I are bouncing around trying to find a place we call home. A favorite pass time of mine would be reading; any old classical timeless literature is my thing. I am a huge fan of musical productions and can sing along to most show tunes! Disney movies are my favorite; nothing better than watching Disney Princesses find their happy ever after. I miss the mountains of Utah--I have fallen in love with camping, hiking, and rock climbing. I have a crazy big family made up of Itlalians and Peruvians where a dull moment will never be found. The gospel is an active lifestyle for me and I love it dearly. I'm all too giggly sometimes and I'm learning to laugh more and enjoy the simple moments of life, the little things bring the most joy. Life is full of ups and downs and I'm taking the good with the bad! Not a day goes by that I don't thank my Father in Heaven for the out poured blessings he gives me. I have the most wonderful man whom I adore to share this life and the next with, I am one lucky/blessed girl.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My whole life I have been taught through His teachings and have always felt the truthfulness that lies within. As I read my scriptures daily, I am filled with peace knowing that the things I read are true. Each and every one of us goes through tough times in our life but I could not have done any of it without the scriptures giving me the faith and hope to pull through. At some point and time, we all question ourselves and learn to rely on ourselves and not our parents. I am happy to say that I have branched out to find and gain my own testimony of the Gospel. I have prayed numerous times to know of a surety whether these things are true or not, and I there is nothing more liberating than to find the answer to a much needed prayer. Though there are many ways one can feel the spirit, I feel it strongest through music. In turn, I love to share my testimony through the gift of my voice. I hope that everyone is able to have the opportunity to be enriched by the teachings of Christ and find the happiness that I have found.

How I live my faith

I had the opportunity to sing in the Dedication Choir for the Atlanta Temple. For a short time I served on the FHE committee in the Young Single Adult ward. Right now I am awaiting a calling in my new ward in SLC. I have given a few talks in Church, I love to speak in Chruch and learn new things about the wonderful gospel I am apart of.
