Hi I'm Steve Clay

I am a nuclear engineer. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of three young children and I work as a nuclear engineer for the Navy. I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, the great outdoors, going on trips, reading good books, and grooming our yard.

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly, I was raised as a member of this church, but I have chosen myself to continue to follow this path. I believe this religion to be the most pure and direct way to live reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with God and my family forever and ever in the next. I know that God will grant us power to overcome any obstacle in this life when we seek Him. This church gives me ample opportunities to serve and support others in living Christ's gospel, which are necessary for me to have spiritual strength and to obtain meaningful happiness.

How I live my faith

I work full-time for the Navy in assisting the men and women who protect freedom. I serve in the Church as a leader of the men in assisting each other to live Christ's teachings. I visit several families in our local congregation each month to ensure they are doing well and share a spiritual message with them. I also serve in my local home owners association. I served a full-time mission for the Church for two years in Bulgaria when I was 19 years old. I met a beautiful young lady on a Church activity and later married her in one of the magnificient temples of the Church. While the sacrifices necessary to be a Mormon might seem daunting, I have been blessed in living my faith far more than anything I have given.
