Hi I'm Wes

I grew up in Southwest Michigan. I am husband, a father, a Physician Assistant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love working with the public, being active outdoors, and spending time with the people I love the most - my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that God reveals his word to Prophets as he did anciently. Jesus Christ's church is restored and his gospel is back in the same purity as it was anciently. I love Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I enjoy being with my family and teaching them the scriptures and sharing my beliefs with them. I love visiting the members of our congregation and visiting in their homes. I have been able to serve by working with the men's organizations in my congregation and with my wife teaching the children.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

We are organized in local congregations so we go to church with our neighbors and live close enough to help one another. We may live in an area with many members or just a few. Either way we meet together to gather and strengthen one another's faith in our Savior Jesus Christ and His teachings. These local congregations have geographical boundaries set up to remain local and are called Wards or Branches depending on the size. Several congregations comprise what is called a Stake. This is literally drawn from Isaiah's imagery of a tent stake. To go further with the analogy, the stake strengthens the tent representing God's church and is a shelter from the storms of life. We strengthen each other as members with the good word of God and sharing each others burdens in these congregations. Show more Show less
