Hi I'm Sarah

I love to play outside. I work with teenagers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern California. I'm a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in physiology/neuroscience. I worked with the Boy Scouts of America for many years as a High Adventure Director. I'm the oldest child, have 3 dogs, and I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm never happier than when I'm following this Gospel and serving others. This is Christ's restored church, and He guides and blesses me daily. Sometimes it is through the words in the Book of Mormon, and at others it is through the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I know that by living worthily I can be with my family forever through the blessings of the Temple.

How I live my faith

I am a Sunday School teacher for the Gospel Principles class. This class is for those who are just learning about the Gospel or who are recently baptized converts. Each week we study the basic principles of the Gospel, including faith in Jesus Christ and repentance. We learn of our relationship to Heavenly Father and how we should live to have joy.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

A Temple is a sacred place, a House of the Lord. Inside, all those who live worthily can receive the sacred ordinances that allow families to be together forever. We are given the knowledge that allows us to return to live with our Heavenly Father. Members also perform these ordinances by proxy for our deceased ancestors. This allows them to receive the blessings of the temple, and binds our families together forever. Our goal is for the whole earth to worthily receive these blessings, in this life or the next.
