Hi I'm Bruce

I grew up going to several different churches. I have been a music teacher since 1981. My life is great! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father of five. I am a graduate of Washington State University. I have been a music teacher and choir director since 1981. I enjoy water skiing, air chair, playing basketball, and riding my Harley-Davidson Wide Glide.

Why I am a Mormon

I did not want to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I thought my family would shun me. I read and studied the scriptures and knew in my mind that the doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints made sense. Even after reading a lot of anti-Mormon literature I knew in my heart that the Mormons have it right... still, I did not want to join the church. Then the Holy Spirit gave me a feeling of comfort. --A feeling that I knew what I was supposed to do. Now I am so very happy to me a member of Christ's church. My life is GREAT!

How I live my faith

I feel the Lord has blessed me and my family. It is difficult to believe anyone is happier than I am. I get to work with the missionaries and help them find people that are searching for happiness; searching for truth. I am so glad to know that I will be with my family for all eternity -- not just until "death do you part."

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

I have noticed that most people don't realize that those missionaries with the name tags pay the costs of going on their own mission. My son who is serving in Sweden raised about $12,000 to take care of the costs of his mission and clothing. Show more Show less
