Hi I'm Robb

I love the mountains and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 15 years and have 3 wonderful children. My wife and I are currently training for a 1/2 marathon. We enjoy the time together each day as we run and train. I enjoy reading, especially spy novels. Tom Clancy and Vince Flynn are some of my favorites. I like to watch my kids play sports and help out where I can. I also enjoy meeting new people and making friends, although sometimes I'm a little shy. I served a 2 year mission for the church in Guatemala. I loved my time and experiences there. I found a profound love for the people of Guatemala and really enjoyed serving them. I still speak Spanish and continue to find new ways everyday to practice my Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a great love for my Savior, Jesus Christ. It is because of Him that I am able to repent and return to live with my Father in Heaven. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints continues to build my testimony of my Savior and to understand his great atonement for us. I am thankful for a prophet who guides and leads the church today. Through him, we can continue to receive revelation and guidance in this life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each and every day so that others around me will recognize my faith and the values I hold. I find that many people are curious about why I do not go out for drinks with them after work, or why I have such a close relationship with my family and extended family. These questions and the way I live my life provide opportunities for me to share my faith with others. In the church, I hold a leadership position with the men in the priesthood. I really enjoy spending time getting to know the men and working side-by-side with them to provide service and find ways to help each other. In the church, we have a program called Home Teaching, where members of the priesthood visit families each month to share a gospel topic with them and find ways to serve and help them. I really like this program as it provides ample opportunities for me to provide service to others. I also get to become closer friends with these families. I enjoy the relationship and also knowing that someone is there to help me if the need arises.
