Hi I'm Sam Martinez

I am a father, a brother, a son, but most importantly I am a Latter Day Saint..... I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Hispanic born and raised mostly in the Bronx, NYC. I am the oldest of 5 brothers lol no not all from the same mom and Dad. I have a 5 year little boy named Elijah who is 6. I was born Catholic like most Latinos but never truly felt like it was right. I bounced back and forth between many different faiths till I finely settled on being a Baptist. Like a lot of people I thought I knew it all and that everything was wrong and that I had to be right. Boy am I glad I was wrong!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it's true. No one told me that it was true, or that I had to believe because of a verse in scripture. I was challenged to study for my self and pray to God our Heavenly Father for my answer. And I got my answer. Since then I have a real relationship with Christ my savior and God my Fahter. The Holy Spirit is my constant companion and that means more to me than you will ever know. Being a Mormon isn't easy. But then again nothing of value ever comes easy. This Gospel in the TRUE church will change your life. So if you have tried anything or everything and still can't find the answers or feel like you don't know the truth I challenge you to meet with the missionaries, or visit the local ward. You wont regret it I promise!!!!!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing everything that I can to live what we are taught. I watch how I speak, I pay my tithe, I pray etc etc... but most importantly I remember that everyone I encounter is a child of God just like my self. I love when love is needed, I teach when answers are asked for. I share the restored Gospel every chance I get. I know I am not perfect. We are all far from it but I don't use that as an excuse not to give my best or give my all. And I always seek to apply the Gospel to every aspect of my life.
