Hi I'm Bob

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Having retired as a teacher/administrator, I now have the time to pursue my interests in cooking(for several years on a lightship) and painting (for those who say they could never paint a picture). Have worked in Uganda as Education Officer, family with me. Intelligence work during Korean conflict. Currently enjoying busy Golden Years in my Ward.

Why I am a Mormon

After decades of searching for substance and religious meaningful experience, the light and energy of Latter Day Saints touched me, defused my reticence in first encounters, and restored my sense of productivity, worth, and religious belief. I have found a warming welcome in our Church and a place where I enjoy study groups and heartfelt, forthright members who have guided me in my new life. I feel complete in my Present LIfe and Hopeful in God's promise.

How I live my faith

Participation in worship services and in the Ward choir set my personal stage for peaceful participation in sometimes contentious Town affairs. Though an indoctrinated member of the temporal world, I have been working with and for persons of many ages to provide some background and perspective of LDS , art skills, peaceful relations, living with the Gospel truths, physical help where warranted - and transitioning from temporal to spiritual/eternal aspirations.
