Hi I'm Aaron

I play for keeps and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 20 year old who grew up in a small town near Las Vegas nevada. I enjoy doing spontanious things and having fun. You have to be inventive to have fun in a valley with nothing but cacti and casinos. So naturally i really enjoy the outdoors. Currently I'm a missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because it is the Savior Jesus Christ's church he set up during his ministry on the earth restored to its fullness. I found this out the same way you find any gospel truth, by studying and asking the source of all knowledge in the universe, namely God, about it through sincere prayer. As such, it is the only church on the earth that knows the keys to having a truly happy life now and eternal life after this one.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following Jesus Christ to the best of my abilities and enjoying it. Most people have a misunderstanding of how much fun you can really have while living a righteous spiritual life. My advice to those people would be, just try it.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Aaron
Well the other day i was teaching an investigator and this brilliant twist to an example we usually use for this suddenly came to me- So who holds the authority to act in the name of the law?... Of course only officers of the law. So now imagine a man who has almost all the law knowledge possibe to obtain, knows all the procedures, and is physically capable but just never got swarn in and given a badge. Does that mean he can just go out and start arresting people and giving tickets? Absolutely not! The underlying theme here is that it doesnt matter what you know or who you are, you need to be given authority to be able to act in the name of something or someone, especially jesus Christ.
