Hi I'm Willie

I grew up in Utah, I am planning on becoming a Biologist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I have 2 older sisters. My dad died when I was 5 years old.  I am about 21 years old. I love to camp, garden, reading fiction books, and of course playing video games. I am an Eagle Scout. I am currently serving a mission. I am planing on attending a University and majoring in Biology. I got my love for nature from my mom. She is also the one who got me interested in Biology. I love the lab work and the results of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. When I was 8 I was baptized. When I got into my teen years I had a lot of questions about my religion. All of those questions were answered by either my family, friends, and most of all prayer. I know it seems a little odd that I want to go into Biology and believe in God. It took a lot of praying and reading the scriptures to know that he is their and to know that he loves me. I have always know there is a life after death. As you have read above my dad died when I was 5. I was too young at the time to realize what that meant, plus I never really got to know my dad. At some points in my life I have felt my fathers presence. My sisters wedding is one of the key time I have felt him.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission. I get to pay to come out and teach about the Restored Gospel of Christ. I leave my family, friends, and hobbies for 2 years. I have had up and down days on my mission thus so far, but I have felt the blessings. I have gotten a stronger faith. I have helped others with their faith as well. This is one of the best ways I can serve my God. To bring others back to Him is one of the greatest gifts I can bring Him.
