Hi I'm Robert

I'm a sports-loving accountant from Ohio, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a newly married, newly employed guy in my 20's, and I'm adapting to married life as well as being employed as best I can. I love sports of all kinds, but I'm particularly passionate about soccer. I grew up in small-town Ohio where it was anything but normal to be a Mormon, let alone live the principles and teachings of Mormonism. But those teachings and principles have never led me astray, and they've made me who I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

Initially I'm a Mormon because my parents were and are Mormons. But like all Mormons, a time comes when you need to make a decision for yourself. I suppose that decision came when I left home for college, and it was no longer easy to be a Mormon. Having lived the standards of Mormonism my whole life, I knew it was good, but it took some serious searching and studying to know for myself that it really was true.

How I live my faith

Currently I'm just trying to be the best husband I can be. Since I'm recently married, family has taken on new meaning to me. I want to continually work to perfect myself so that I can be with my wife forever. This includes working hard at my job, supporting my wife in all she is involved with, and being dedicated to my church callings.
