Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a farmer. I love planting, nurturing, and harvesting a crop. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm and ranch where we initially raised sheep and wheat. Later we changed to cattle. Currently I raise wheat and potatoes. I love the seasons and watching things grow. Like most farmers, I love the harvest. I also like to spend time with my family watching them grow, and especially love the harvest of seeing them learn things and become better people. I enjoy the opportunity to serve others besides my family and watching their lives change.

Why I am a Mormon

It is a great feeling to know that the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored on this earth, and that the Heavens are open. The Holy Ghost has witnessed to me that it is true. I love the clarity of the doctrine that teaches the significance of the atonement of Jesus Christ as begin central to all other doctrines, and that if we make and keep covenants we can be together forever as families. We have direction from living prophets that receive revelation.

How I live my faith

The master admonished his disciples, "When thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." I enjoy the opportunity to serve others in helping them see the importance of the gospel in their lives. Likewise I also enjoy being taught by others, ways that I can better live the gospel. To try to teach and live the gospel like the Savior would is certainly a life-long goal.
