Hi I'm Danelle

I'm a wife. I'm a mom. I'm a photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife and a mom to three boys. I'm a photographer. I try to take a picture every day. I love to cook and bake, and share my photos and recipes on my cooking blog. On Friday nights, my boys plan our menu and we cook dinner together. We eat a lot of pizza on Friday nights. I volunteer at school. I have a degree in Advertising. I love to read--especially biographies and history. I'd love to write a book someday. I'm a hockey fan!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family, but now that I'm an adult, the choice to be a Mormon is all mine. There are many reasons I choose to be a Mormon, but I'm especially grateful for the help and guidance I receive as a mother through the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I worry about how to navigate the troubles of the world, and how to keep my children safe, I know I can find answers through my Mormon faith. It's a great comfort to know I have a loving Heavenly Father who has a plan for me and my family.

How I live my faith

My husband and I both serve in the church, planning activities, teaching, and attending to the welfare of those in our congregation and community. Our children help out too, giving talks, teaching lessons and performing service. We attend church together as a family every Sunday. We pray and read scriptures as a family and individually. We've set Monday nights aside as special family time, where we discuss our family's values and goals and try to have fun together.
