Hi I'm Colton

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying Political Science and Mandarin Chinese. I am the oldest of 5 kids and have a brother with Down syndrome. I am very involved in my community and love to be in the outdoors. I enjoy playing tennis, golf, swimming, camping, and hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love how family oriented this church is. It has taught me the importance of family in society and how I can be with my family forever. Beyond just the good focus of family, I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed about it and received an answer that it is true. I firmly believe that it is only the gospel of Jesus Christ that will solve the problems our society and world face. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. He loves each of us and wants us to be happy. I also know that we have a Heavenly Father that lives and loves us. He has created a great plan for our happiness! Basically, I am a Mormon because it brings joy to my life!

How I live my faith

Living my faith is much more than simply reading scriptures and attending church services, it is actually allowing the principles that Jesus Christ taught to influence my daily life. I participate in community activities that help with humanitarian aid and other projects to better society. I believe that the family is the basic unit of society and that family activities are a great way to live my faith.
