Hi I'm Bryce

I love to eat, I'm a huge Lakers fan and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was raised in Southern California in an excellent family of six. Like most other youth I spent my time playing sports and enjoying the bliss of a care free childhood. I am grateful to my parents who taught me early to be diligent and work hard. I believe anything can be achieved through persistent effort. Currently I am serving a mission in Pennsylvania after which I will return to California. Serving and teaching others eternal truths is the most satisfying work I have ever done.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it contains all of the truths and principles that will allow me to return to live with God after death. Although I was born into the church, my testimony came gradually as I was able to gain faith in the principles I was being taught. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives us so much incentive to do right and to keep the commandments of God. Everything we learn and do in the church is designed to bring us happiness. The perspective of eternity and knowledge of who I am as a son of God is invaluable.

How I live my faith

As a missionary, I have the wonderful opportunity to teach others about the principles of salvation. An enjoyment I get from doing missionary work is meeting people from various backgrounds with differing perspectives. It's amazing how much we can learn from each other when we're willing to listen. There are so many people who have no idea that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been brought back to the earth through living prophets. To be a messenger of this great truth is very humbling.

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

We believe that every person who has lived on this earth can return to God after this life. All men and women will be resurrected, or will gain a physical immortal body again because of Jesus Christ's victory over death. This immortality will come to everyone whether they have kept God's commandments or not. However, eternal life, or living in the presence of our Heavenly Father will come to those who have sought after him and have tried their best to keep his commandments. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ we can be made clean through repentance and reach our eternal potential.  Our greates desire should be to live in the presence of God with our families for eternity. Our joy will be full. Show more Show less
