Hi I'm Keaton

I'm a violin playing, roller skating guy. I'm serving a mission in Houston, Texas. And most important, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a Mormon all my life. Yet, that hasn't stopped me from leading a normal life! I've played the violin for almost fourteen years now. I played lacrosse for my entire high school career as a defender. I worked as a DJ at a roller skating rink. And heck! I even fixed watches for a living! I'm just an average high school graduate. I just have different beliefs.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. I grew up knowing the fulness of the Gospel. It has been a huge blessing in my life knowing where I have come from, where I'm going, and most importantly, my potential of what I can become in the eternities.

How I live my faith

I have gone to church all my life and gained a testimony of the Gospel. After I graduated from high school, I taught some of the youth every few Sundays. I even have dedicated a portion of my life preaching the message of the Gospel to others.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Joseph Smith was a man who lived in the early 1800's. He had a question, and the scriptures told him to pray about it. He prayed for an answer, and saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. They called him to be a Prophet, and through him, God restored his one and only church once again to the earth the same church Christ established during his earthly ministry. Joseph Smith also restored necessary keys and authority needed to perform ordinances such as baptism, and giving the Gift of the Holy Ghost. He also translated an ancient record of God's dealings with the peoples in ancient America by the power of god. And from this record, we have the Book of Mormon. Show more Show less

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

When missionaries come over to your house, they come to bring you a message of peace. This message says that God has always called prophets, and that he still continues to call them today. Through a living prophet who receives revelation from God, we can know for ourselves God's will, and how we should be living our lives. If you have the opportunity or the desire to talk with missionaries... DO IT!! I always say that you have nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Give it a try! Show more Show less
