Hi I'm Tim

I'm a retired professional civil engineer, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I founded an engineering company. I love to help make things happen. I have been active in Boy Scouts of America as a youth and an adult. While serving as a scout master I took the scouts camping almost every month, rain or shine and sometimes in subzero weather. I love the outdoors and the challenges it offers---desserts, mountains, valleys, rivers, oceans, etc.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child I was taught to pray by my parents. I felt close to my Father in Heaven as I prayed and received answers to my prayers. Understanding that He is the father of my spirit and that He loves me and has an eternal plan for me helps me to strive to do His will. I know that it is only through Jesus Christ and His atonement that I can be with Him again. I first read the Book of Mormon in my early teens and received a spiritual witness that it is true. It has been an anchor in my life and in my testimony of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have worked with my wife to raise our children to love and respect others, to be self sufficient, and accountable for their actions. With our encouragement they have all served missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, graduated from college and are responsible citizens.  I currently serve as a full time missionary for the church.
