Hi I'm Joe Palmer

I like hanging out with friends, sports, cooking, playing games, and reading. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I going into real estate here in Nevada. I like hanging out with friends and laughing and having a good time. I used to play sports but injuries have put a damper on that in my life. I do like to watch sports still though, and play every once in awhile.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel has become more important to me as I've grown in knowledge in my life. It is my number one priority in life. The Gospel makes me want to be a better person everyday. I am a Mormon because of the knowledge and testimony I have gained over the years. The Holy Ghost has testified to me that it is true and brings me comfort when I am in need, as long as I'm striving to be the best I can be. The Book Of Mormon is true, Joseph Smith Jr. is a prophet and saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ as two separate beings, and prophets and apostles lead the church today. Even though this life has its ups and downs, it has its blessings and its trials, turning towards the Savior for help is the only way to push forward in the good times and the bad.

How I live my faith

One of the biggest things that helps me is staying in contact with my Father in Heaven through prayer. Studying my scriptures can bring peace and comfort when needed. I like to help other people when they are in need. Going the temple has brought peace and blessings into my life. It is good to get away from everyday life whether going into the temple or just being on the temple grounds, it can bring peace to anyone's life.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a member of the Mormon Church is a lifestyle. It isn't something that you just do on Sundays. It is something you do everyday. People aren't perfect but we can take the advantage of the Atonement in our lives and become better. Show more Show less
