Hi I'm Jamie

I'm a busy mom of two little boys, on an adventure across the country for school with my husband, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the wife of a busy student and a mother of two little boys. My family means everything to me. I am a "retired" nurse and get to be home with my boys all day long! I love to play the piano, bake, play sports, and be with family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful for the church, especially with raising our two little boys! I am so grateful for the church and the peace it gives us, even in this crazy world, and for the guidance it gives us to live happy lives. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real, and they are aware of each one of us. I love the joy that I feel in living the gospel, and being with my family. I am so grateful for the atonement of our Savior that makes it possible for us to be forever families.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by reading my scriptures, saying my prayers, and teaching my family about our Savior. My calling right now is the pianist in the Primary, the youth organization for the children ages 3-11. The primary music is so inspired and beautiful. I love being able to play the piano and be with the children. They are amazing!

Are Mormons Christians?

YES! This is one of the common misconceptions of the Mormon Church. The official church name is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is HIS church, and all of our beliefs follow HIS teachings. Jesus Christ is our Savior, our Redeemer, our King. We worship in his name and He is the center of everything we do. We believe the Book of Mormon to be true, which is Another Testament of Jesus Christ, along with the Bible. Show more Show less
