Hi I'm Lee Propst

I'I grew up in Iowa, left to join U.S. Navy, currently live in Idaho. Retired from Maytag.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Married, 5 children, 4 girls, 1 boy. 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. Like to fish, hunt, spend time with wife and family and work full time with my son.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church in the mid 70's after realizing the church I was attending at the time was lacking the full gospel of Jesus Christ and was getting involved with political things that were not to my to my liking. I played on the Mormon Church softball team, got to know many members, their beliefs and their committment to family. I then decided after much prayer, that it was the church for me and my family and it has proved to be a fantastic decision. I thing my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for guiding me in that direction.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every week, partaking of the sacrament to renew the covenants I have made with the Lord, by visiting members, visiting and attending to those that are aged or ill, by doing my best in my calling and to visit the families that I Home Teach. My past callings have been Scoutmaster, Young Mens President, Bishop, and Stake President. I have been involved in the community by serving in various committes in the Optimist Club. I find joy in serving and helping others.
