Hi I'm Logan

I'm a rock climber, a student, a missionary. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 22 years old and I am currently living in New Jersey as a full-time missionary. I love to rock climb and play soccer. In school I'm studying International Relations, and I'm trying to learn Chinese. I love to be outdoors, and skateboard. and I love movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I read the Book of Mormon. It's really as simple as that, God gave us a promise that if we truly read the Book of Mormon and just ask him with faith, He will let us know if the book is true or not or in other words, does the book come from him or from some other source. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because as I read it every day I keep this question in my heart God, did this really happen? Is this true? Time and time again I have felt in my heart that the stories in the Book of Mormon are true. I know it because I gave it a try.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving God as a missionary. I live my faith by helping others find the joy that I have found.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Logan
Right now I am a missionary in New Jersey, we talk with people about Jesus Christ. When the missionaries come to your home they will get to know you, your beliefs, your hobbies, your family, or where you find happiness. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has blessed my life in every way, and thats what we share. We teach people how to come closer to Christ in every aspect of life. Our whole purpose as missionaries is to invite other people to come unto Christ. We do this by helping people develop faith in Jesus Christ and then inviting them to act on thier faith. The missionaries will probably leave you with something to read, or to pray about, or invite you to church. These are ways we can act on our faith. The first time they come over the will simply share where our church comes from and how its teachings can bring you more happiness. Show more Show less

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Logan
Absolutley! We read and love the Bible we hold it as the word of God. The Bible teaches us about the life of Christ and helps us draw closer to him. In fact as I read the Bible and search for the example of Christ I find the things taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The bible testifies of our church, we find the same organization in the church at the time of Christ as we do in our church today. I love the writings of Paul. I draw strength from his example as a follower of Christ. We believe in the Bible, we belive what it says and what it teaches. Our faith in the Book of Mormon only supports and strengthens our faith in the Jesus Christ. Nothing we do takes away from the Bible, the Book of Mormon is simply another testimony that Jesus is the Christ. Show more Show less
