Hi I'm Cory

I am a husband, a father, a teacher, a coach, and a Mormon.

About Me

I spend a lot of my free time coaching football, basketball, track, and lacrosse. I have 3 boys who are very active in sports.

Why I am a Mormon

My family is the most important thing I will ever be a part of. All the scholarhips, all the awards and championships, all my successes are nothing compared to the joy I get from raising my children. The church has been instrumental in helping me to be a better father and husband, as well as providing a support for the moral principles we teach in the home. My time serving in the church is also meaningful as I feel the Spirit testify of the truthfulness of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I have recently served as a bishop--a position that gave me stewardship over the temporal and spiritual welfare of our congregation and the community at large. We are very involved in Boy Scouts and have participated in several activities that assist the homeless in the area. Most of my time was spent working with the youth to help them overcome the difficulties we face in our teenage years. Now I am serving in a presidency that helps to instruct and prepare bishops so that they can be successful in carrying out those same activities. Although it may take up a lot of my free time, it is so very rewarding to see the difference it is making in the lives of our Heavenly Father's children.
