Hi I'm Brian Walker

I'm a global Human Resources executive. I have lived in seven countries. I love people from all cultures. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a father of four. Raising my children overseas has been one of my greatest privileges and challenges. I love to travel to all parts of the world. I especially love ancient cultures, particularly those from Mexico and Central America. I love people from all cultures, and I love understanding the "why" behind all cultural behavior. My job allows me to do what I love most, interact with and help people from all parts of the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I firmly believe that God continues to reveal his word through prophets in our generation. The gospel has been my foundation everywhere I have gone, giving me a true sense of who am am and what my purpose is. I am proud of my Mormon pioneer history, as well as my more recent family history. Like them, I believe that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ, that he translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God, and that through him the true Priesthood of God was restored on the earth. The Priesthood has blessed me, my family and many around me. I cannot deny it's power or the truth of it's existence.

How I live my faith

My favorite Church activity is teaching. I have loved teaching the youth over the years. I am also deeply committed to our family Foundation, Las Gaviotas, dedicated to helping educate middle and high school children in Latin America. I believe education is indispensable to the growth of God's children, and I'm happy to contribute in any way possible.
