Hi I'm Donald Wright

I was born in Ontario and have been in every province of Canada. I have run my own business for 20 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of 3 and the grandfather of 12 and have enjoyed the compansionship of my wife for over 40 years. I enjoy woodworking and family history research. We live in the country and have 42 acres with trails throughout the property that take nearly an hour to walk. We are finding that having 12 grandchildren within a half an hour of our home means we never have a dull moment as there is always family visiting our acerage I have been retired for 10 years but have remained active in my hobbies and have enjoyed recently designing and having large solar arrays installed in various locations of Ontario.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I became a Mormon? I have always looked for a church that practiced the true teachings of Jesus Christ. One thing that I learned from my fathers example is that a father's main purpose in life should be to serve his family. I was so impressed by the people of the latter day faith who by their actions demonstrated their faith in the teachings of Jesus Christ. I became a Mormon because of observing Mormon Youth and how they conducted themselves in a world of values far from Christian teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church and being active in helping in church and community. I live my faith trying everyday to interact with people in a manner that would uplift and encourage. i live my faith by attempting to follow the admonition of Paul - i believe all things, I hope all things, I have endured many things and hope to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, I seek after these things.
