Hi I'm Sam Stout

I am a Chris Farley lover, a pie eating competitor, an anecdote thinker, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the average Joe Shmoe who just loves to laugh and have a good time. I am a mega fan of Chris Farley and I'm serving a mission in Tennessee. I like to do random things that just can give me a chuckle and help others laugh. I am from Northern Utah which is refered to as the Factory. I am the youngest of 4 kids our parents have taught us through example. I owe so much to my Heavenly Father for my parents because they showed me the way. I love sports and have actively participated in sports for most of my life Football, baseball, wrestling, basketball, track & field, racquetball, and etc. I never was a great athlete and I remember for 2 wrestling seasons I never won a match. It was so hard to deal with because I love sports so much and i really had a desire to play. I know the Lord wanted me to learn some things, and even though there is still a lot I do not know, I do know that God wanted me to learn that we are not always given things we want. We need to do our best with what we do have. We are given special gifts that we can use to build our Heavenly Father's kingdom and we are all special! We are all special in the eyes of our Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I was born of goodly parents of old who were raised mormon and their parents as well. I have been brought up in an environment that has taught me to try to do the right thing and as well as having a strong relationship with God. I know this is where I need to be!

How I live my faith

I live it by trying to do what is right and trying to improve on my weaknesses. I always seem to have a desire to be better than I have and just to keep on trucking. I make many mistakes but I just try to keep on going and do what Rudy did and that is not giving up!

Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

Sam Stout
I know that it is true because of praying and showing faith to God. The truth is though, that you will never truly know if Jesus Christ really did appear to the people in the Americas if you won't ask God. He will tell you if His own son really did appear to people in the Americas. You need to not take my word on it and go to the true source to find out if it is true for yourself.  Show more Show less
