Hi I'm Ken

I am a husband, a father, a biologist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and have two beautiful daughters. I am finishing up a medical sciences PhD in vision science. I lived in Mexico city for two years during a two year service mission. I enjoy playing outside with my family, reading a good book, singing, and playing basketball and volleyball.

Why I am a Mormon

At the age of 15 I was reading the Book of Mormon and I realized that I had never sincerely asked God for myself whether it was true. I remember that time I prayed very well and felt the confirmation that it was indeed true. Since then I have received countless confirmations of the truthfulness of the gospel principles. I have seen how the gospel changes lives for the better as people turn to God and our Savior Jesus Christ. I have witnessed miracles through the power of the priesthood and I know that God loves us and is always aware of each and every one of his children.

How I live my faith

For many years I worked with the young men of our local congreagation organizing weekly activities and teaching Sunday lessons. Currently I am helping coordinate efforts to help those who are interested in learning more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to be able to do so.
