Hi I'm Gina

I'm from Chicago and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I joined the Church when I was 17-years-old and am an avid fan of the Osmond Family and the Twilight series. I graduated from BYU with a BA in Communications in the late 70's and currently work for the Church.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has not only changed my life, but my eternity as well! I investigated the Church as a young teen-ager who was raised by a GREAT family. It was difficult finding friends in high school who had the same standards & ideals that I did. Enter The Osmonds. I was given a tape of Jay Osmond reading the Joseph Smith tract, which I listened to day & night. What he was reading rang true to me so I sent in the coupon from the tract. Missionaries came to my home and taught me the Gospel. After joining the Church and graduating from BYU, I was privileged to serve a mission myself... and, to the land of my forefathers -- Rome, Italy! I am SO THRILLED that a Temple will be built there soon!

How I live my faith

I enjoy attending Church meetings on Sundays and try to contribute whenever and however I am able. I enjoy visits with the members at Church, as well as weekly lessons which I have taught in the past. One thing I LOVE about our Church is the feeling of love, fellowship and FAMILY that I get... even though none of my immediate, living family members are members of this same Church. We all genuinely care about each other in my ward, and do our best to take care of each other. I have home teachers, men in the ward who come to visit me, and visiting teachers, women in the congregation who also come to visit me. I love them like family.
